Course Overview
The Aspiring Leaders Programme- Leading a High-Performance Culture (HPC), is a transformational process that examines the role that culture plays in determining the effectiveness of the organisation.
Utilising a world-class culture diagnostic tool, a common language is established and delegates are able to benchmark their own culture against the norms. The HPC process makes the inextricable link between their effectiveness as leaders and the embedding of that desired culture.
However, the emphasis of the programme is not on understanding this research, but on applying it so that the mindset and behaviours of each leader can be aligned to the culture that would most likely increase the success of the whole.
Throughout the programme, you will have access to the ‘Thought Patterns for High Performance’ e-learning course.
Additionally, you will receive an individualised ‘Personal Blueprint Report’ following the completion of an online questionnaire – this will help you understand how your beliefs impact your own performance and others.
Learning Outcomes
By actively engaging in the programme you will be provided with growth strategies that will enable you to:
- Successfully lead change
- Understand what makes a High Performing Culture and impacts you as a leader
- Understand the difference between management and leadership
- Develop strategies for enhancing your team culture to be even more constructive
- Create the ideal climate for teams to thrive
- Set and achieve transforming goals
- Understand how beliefs and mindsets impact performance
- Explore how your mindset, and the mindsets of your direct reporters, are created and shaped
- The ability to assist managers in ‘letting go’, reducing micromanagement and stepping out of the management comfort zone
Intended Audience
Current and aspiring managers within a leadership role.

Event Details
With more than 55 million people living with dementia worldwide and nearly 10 million new cases every year, it is ever more important for patient-facing staff to understand how to effectively identify, manage and communicate with patients diagnosed or suspected to be living with dementia. Following the course, participants will have a greater understanding and will recognise how a diagnosis of dementia and delirium assessment, treatment, and care impacts those with the condition, their families and those caring for them.
The course will consist of training provided by Macmillan Nurse Consultant Lorraine Burgess. Due to restrictions on face-to-face contact, this training will not include the Virtual Dementia tour provided by X-Experience which would normally follow the morning session. Once restrictions are lifted, we can schedule this tour so that you can attend in person.
Learning Outcomes

- Highlight how factors such as the environment and communication may impact a person’s behaviour.
